Took my girlfriend out to Oak and we absolutely loved it! The design of the restaurant is beautiful and you notice it the second you walk in.
Service: Simply amazing! Our waiter was very attentive without interrupting us too much. His recommendations were spot on.
Cheese and Meat Board: this was big and very easy to share. Everything on the board was thoroughly explained to us. The meats, cheese and locally sourced honey were great.
Truffle Fries: Perfectly fried, not too oily or crispy. The flavor was outstanding and the portion size was great.
Lobster Mac n Cheese: I won't lie, I am a Mac n cheese hater. This side was delicious though. I ate more than half of it as the cheese blend was delicious and I'm sure the lobster helped out a bit.
Filet Mignon: Cooked medium rare as we ordered it. Very tender as expected and perfectly seasoned. One of the best Filets I've had in Nashville.
Want to impress? Want a wonderful night out? Go to Oak!! -

For us, this restaurant was very convenient as we were staying at the hotel next door and we were looking for something close to get to.
I will start with I liked the decor and the service was great.
Now talking about the food, even knowing it was a steak house, we were not really in the mood for steak, but we thought that usually, they have a few seafood options, soups, and salads... To be honest, the seafood options were more limited than normal in a steak house, but their Tuna tartare was delicious and the chopped salad as well. The ravioli was very good to me, however, if you're not a fan of ricotta cheese probably not for you.
Overall I really enjoyed the experience and food -

Made a reservation here for about 11AM on Mother's Day. We were seated immediately. Very lovely looking restaurant...I think it would be an awesome choice for any special occasion.
We started off with two appetizers... the crab cake and the smoked ricotta ravioli. For our entrees, we ordered the shrimp and grits and the steak and cheese omelet.
The crab cake was delicious. It was a nice size for sharing, and it was full of crabmeat, not just breading like you get at other places! The old bay aioli and pickled red onions went along with it nicely!
The waitress had recommended the smoked ravioli and I'm glad we gave it a try! It was fresh homemade pasta filled with smoked ricotta cheese, laid out on some sweet potato puree, compressed apples, pecans, and mizuna greens. Very good and a unique flavor!!
The shrimp and grits were great. Fat juicy shrimp, cooked perfectly. The grits were cheesy goodness and loved the bacon/tomato/roasted jalapeno topping.
I really, REALLY enjoyed the omelet. I wasn't expecting to be so crazy about it..but it was just that good! Cheddar, fontina, smoked gouda, and tender, flavorful sliced steak stuffed inside eggy, fluffy goodness. I would honestly go back just for that!
We really enjoyed our meal here!! This place only seems to do brunch on special occasions like Mother's Day, Father's Day, etc. If you're able to make it for one of those, I highly recommend! I can't wait to come back another time for dinner! -

Relaxed atmosphere and delicious food. The staff is friendly and engaging. The sides are family style. I highly recommend the brussel sprouts they are wonderful. This a good choice for gluten free. They have many gluten free dishes. You do have to ask. I would definitely come back. It's worth the money.

Went to this restaurant on 8/15/19. Reservations are needed but we were able to obtain a table anyway. Ambiance is mature with dim lights sexy untraditional style sofa furniture. Our waiter was IAN. He was knowledgeable and taught us about CAB certified steaks and the different criteria and screenings to required to have this seal of approval. He introduced himself, asked about our allergies, directed us to the bathroom and really gave us an experience.
IAN told us about the tasty bread locally produced and even how the butter was churned with the queen bees they host.
The food was exceptional. I had a filet minion with blue cheese, asparagus and the Mac n cheese with bacon everything was delicious. Patronize this spot for serious food and pay respect to the hard working staff, particularly IAN.
